Alfredo Garcia is an Assistant Art Handler at The Center. His entry, simply titled Snowman Masterpiece (2014), is a humorous look at his job with our Shipping and Installation team. In his own words:
“Taking care of artwork and heirlooms is at the core of what we do here at The Center, and is a big part of my job. Everyone here has an investment in protecting and preserving art. My colleagues and I in the Shipping and Installation Department are always prepared to respond to disaster situations. We unfortunately don’t have an Art-Chopper in my department, but if we did, I would use it all the time!”
